Careers in Agriculture Initiative

Through an initiative of the Kentucky Agriculture and Environment in the Classroom and the Kentucky Agricultural Council, we want to encourage more students to consider careers and jobs in Kentucky agriculture. Awareness of what is important to students and the availability of jobs and careers is the first step in connecting students to local companies and organizations.

Local Careers Exploration Lesson - From the American Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture
Students will use research to identify potential careers in local industries and prepare to conduct an informational interview using Google Docs.
