The Kentucky Agriculture and Environment in the Classroom, with support from the Kentucky Pork Producers Association and the Kentucky Agricultural Development Fund, is requesting applications from Kentucky FFA chapters that engage in community agricultural literacy and education programs.

Ten chapters will be selected to receive up to $1,000 in agricultural literacy resources—such as display posters, games, books, and station activities—to help them accomplish their community program goals. Selected chapters may choose the resources they will receive; chapters may want to view available resources to help them plan their programs. At the end of the 2020/2021 school year, a chapter will be recognized for their exemplary efforts and will receive an additional $1,000 for the chapter activities of their choice.

Chapters interested in this program, should complete the application linked below and submit it no later than September 18, 2020 (Extended). Chapters will be notified no later than October 2, 2020 and will have up to one year to carry out their programs and report their activity success. These activities may be used for the Strengthening Agriculture - Agricultural Literacy program.
